Meet The Family Behind Sky Resorts
We’re the Manthei Family. Our start in the RV and manufactured home industry traces its roots back to the early 1970s when Tim Manthei (with the help of his brothers and cousins), began constructing a manufactured home and RV park just outside of Palm Springs, California.
Now, with the next generation at the helm, we're eager to continue creating meaningful work places where we all create communities that improve lives.

Sky Valley is the location of our corporate offices. With 13 mineral pools & spas, we have regular guests and residents that love it here!
Catering to winter snowbirds, full time residents and weekenders coming from LA, the resort has 891 sites.

About The Team: Sky Valley is the home of our corporate office. Including the corporate staff, this location has about 20 full time employees and an additional 20 seasonal staff.

Situated on top of natural mineral hot water, Caliente boasts 6 mineral pools and spas. As a 55 & better resort, Caliente serves RV guests, seasonal renters and full time residents. You’ll find vibrant winters and quiet summers at this location.

About The Team: Caliente is located 5 miles down the road from our corporate offices at Sky Valley Resort. Some team members are full time throughout the year while several seasonal staff members are hired to accommodate the busy winter season.

Located across the street from 80,000 acres of state vehicular recreation area, this resort draws families and off road enthusiasts from San Diego and the surrounding areas.

About The Team: Small but mighty, this team has seasonal employees while the resort is open from October to April. Choose this location if you love embarking on desert adventures and navigating off-road terrain.
